Seeing the pictures from our weekend together absolutely filled my heart to remember each and every one of you, the stories you shared of your journey through this existence, and what brought us all to be there together. It is something I will never forget and it has forever changed my life. For that, I am grateful to each and every one of you!
I've learned to guard my vulnerability and emotions so well that I still have trouble talking about myself, but my experience at the ceremony was beyond profound. I removed the emotional blockages I have known were there and were hindering my journey of personal growth and self-development. I have found the voice in my heart that had been begging to be heard and learned to only speak from there instead of my mind or ego. I listen with a different purpose now, I see things so much more clearly for what they are, and I'm intuitive to the intent behind them. I have a lot of work ahead of me learning to hone these gifts and to utilize them in the right way, but I feel a sense of relief and peace within myself that wasn't there before I attended the ceremony. Like I knew what I needed from the ceremony even before I came there and by showing up and having the courage to take the journey, I was given what I had sought for longer than I can remember. Shaba, you forever changed my life with what you told me and I will carry that and live by it till I no longer exist. Victor also spoke almost as if it were from my own heart about his experience and how he felt about himself as a father and that was truly profound to know that I was not alone in that.
I hope that as we all return back to our "new" normal that we can use our experiences to lift our spirits and fill ourselves with a new sense of purpose. Despite everyone showing up to the ceremony with different reasons and intents to be there, I hope that everyone walked away knowing that the world needs us for something. Time is the one thing that we cannot buy, barter for, or take from someone else. In that, it is also the most precious thing we have. It is the one thing we all have the same amount of, but how we choose to spend it will determine the quality of our lives and the lives of those around us. We all have something beautiful and amazing to share with others and the powerful stories that we once thought were what had broken us or been the anchor drowning us in our lives, are actually the means by which we can help and heal ourselves and others. The greatest gift is to help others and I feel blessed to have been in the presence of such an amazing, strong, and gifted group of light beings (souls). Each of you helped me in a way that words can never truly express.
I sincerely appreciate each and every one of y'all and a special thanks to Shaba, Victor, Crystal, Jessica, and Maria for hosting the event and guiding me/us through the amazing and humbling journey I experienced. Shout out to Maria and Jessica for the AMAZING gift of your voice and the soul in which you displayed! You girls rocked the forest and called my soul home again! Without a doubt, I look forward to joining y'all for another ceremony in the future!
